National Parking Day 2008 Minneapolis, MN
September 22nd, 2008 by Sveden
Had a blast on Friday afternoon turning a parking spot on S. 9th St near Target into a public green space.
And at the end of the day Karl and I got to take home 10 rolls of free sod to place in an awkward fashion in our yard.
Check out the full set of my photos here. Shanai, organizer extraordinaire of our parking space, also has a set here.

That looks soooo cool. I love the nisse and the park bench. Looks like you were able to pull in some passers-by and share the park with everyone! How fun.
