Third cyclist in as many weeks killed in accident

September 24th, 2008 by Sveden

Sad news on this bright and sunny day after the rain. A young man died in surgery after being hit by a vehicle near 5th and Nicollet on 09/23/2008.

A recent graduate of South High this young man was presumably heading towards class at MCTC on Wednesday morning. No local news sources are covering this incident as far as I know. More info as it develops at Mpls Bike Love.

My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

Edit: I had the wrong URL linked for about 45 minutes.
